There is a shortage of swan plants/
Gomphocarpus physocarpus/ swan plant
. Some schools are asking for donations of the plant which the Monarch butterflies eat. My local garden Centre King's barn even gave plants free to families to grow in their garden.
I went to my friends' Maureen and Roger's house in Te Atatu. They had many plants in their garden.

It's a pity when such beautiful butterflies die out because of a shortage of plants they feed on...
