Brachychiton acerifolius....Illawarra flame tree friday flowers

Brachychiton acerifolius....Illawarra flame tree This tree is completely red. I found some up north and they are still red.

A spectacular Australian tree that sheds its deep green lobed leaves in summer to produce a mass of vivd scarlet flowers. Requires a light, free-draining soil in a sheltered sunny spot in the garden. Able to tolerate frosts as the tree matures. Evergreen except when flowering.
